SUNSHINE COAST TURF CLUB - CORBOULD PARK, CALOUNDRA CUSHION TRACK MASTERPLANNING AND STABLING PROJECT
CLIENT: Sunshine Coast Turf Club & Queensland Racing
Arben was engaged by Sunshine Coast Racing to assist with the development and improvement to its Corbould Park Race Course in Caloundra, Queensland. In particular, Arben managed the design and installation of the new Cushion
Track (Synthetic Race Track), which was a first for Queensland Racing. In addition to this, Arben managed the preparation of a preliminary masterplan which identified a number of potential related and non related uses for the site. This exercise was part of another role which included the procurement of a DA for a 400-500 on site horse stable facility. Each aspect of our role involved dealing with a large number of stakeholders and Boards/Committees and the facility continued to provide training and racing facilities throughout the project.

ARTHOUSE HOTEL
CLIENT: Ipoh
This heritage building was built in the 1840s and known as the School of Arts building. The building has been fully restored and refurbished and converted to a hotel. Arben was engaged to manage the fitout, acting on behalf of the business owner.

RIGALETTO ROOF & BAR SKYGARDEN
CLIENT: Citaden
Arben managed the successful delivery of the restaurant and bar in Skygarden on behalf of the property owner.

MANNING HOUSE, SYDNEY UNIVERSITY
CLIENT: University of Sydney Union
The redevelopment of this building incorporated a concert venue, bars, food outlets, and office accommodation. Towards the later stage of the construction works, Arben was engaged by the University Union to assist the consultants and builder to achieve a timely practical completion. Arlen also acted as Client representative.

ESTABLISHMENT, SYDNEY
CLIENT: Merivale
Arben was engaged as the Project Manager, taking the project from the design documentation stage to award of a building contractor. Arben was the superintendent for the early demolition and bulk excavation works.
Prior to establishing Arben Management, Martin Waters had also gained experience in a number of other hospitality projects. Some of these are listed below.

SYDNEY SHOWGROUND, HOMEBUSH
CLIENT: Olympic Coordination Authority
Martin Waters was the administration Manager for the $380 million Homebush facilities for the Royal Easter Show. This precinct was also an indispensable part of the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games.

MUSEUM OF CONTEMPORARY ART, SYDNEY
CLIENT: Museum of Contemporary Art
Martin Waters was an integral part of the Project Management team on this high profile site.
