Woolworths, Neutral Bay

Woolworths, Neutral Bay

Arben Management were appointed to project manage the refurbishment of the Neutral Bay Village on Rangers Road, Neutral Bay. The Brief encompassed the conversion of the existing neighbourhood shopping centre into a Woolworths Supermarket and small coffee shop tenancy, whilst utilizing most of the existing building structure and basement car park. The property adjoins a liquor store and commercial office building, the owners of which also have shared ownership of the land which the Supermarket will be built. The legal and property related issues of this have made for a challenging project. Construction commenced in late 2005 and the project was completed in June 2006.

Arben Management was appointed to project manage the redevelopment of the Parkway Plaza at Thornleigh. The project encompassed the total refurbishment of the centre including partial demolition and excavation for basement carparking. The project commenced construction in the first quarter of 2004 and reached practical completion in July 2005.

Arben has undertaken coordination and relocation of various specialty stores throughout the centre. Arben was also engaged to Project Manage the new Roof Top Bar and Restaurant and various Base Building upgrades to the public areas including lift lobbies, entries and lift cars.


Stockland Shopping Centre, Wetherill Park

Arben was engaged by Stockland to project manage the Stage 3 extension ($20m) of their shopping centre at Wetherill Park. The project involved the relocation of existing "medical" tenants, extension of the existing centre for a new Target Store and 28 specialty shops, undercover carparking for 400 cars and existing carpark reconfiguration works. The extension was opened in April 2003.

Arben Management was engaged by Stockland to Project Manage the refurbishment of the intermediate level into a food court. This involved full design and authorities management along with major demolition, façade modification and expansion of the floor area whilst the tenants continued to trade.

Acting on behalf of Colonial First State Investments, Arben has coordinated and managed the design and fitout of the podium levels of the above building. This comprises a mix of tenants ranging from a Share Trade and Financial Services Centre to a new Hotel, Food Outlets and Speciality Stores.

Arben conducted the refurbishment of Heritage Market Street store, comprising six levels of retail and 8 levels of commercial.


The Galeries Victoria, Sydney

The Galeries Victoria, Sydney

Arben Management, through Ipoh, was introduced to this project whilst the head contractor completed their minimum base building works. Arben Management was responsible for the tenant management, approvals and construction of some 80 specialty shops under the difficult site conditions of a major Contractor working overhead.
